National Professional Qualifications

Harris City Academy Crystal Palace Teaching School Hub is proud to be a Partner with the National Institute of Teaching (NIoT) – England's new flagship teacher and leader training and development provider.

Rooted in schools, NIoT is dedicated to developing teachers and school leaders at every stage of their careers – from trainee through to executive leader.

Its programmes reflect local contexts and employ local expertise, while also drawing on best-in-class research to make sure its programmes benefit from evidence and effective practice that can boost the quality of teaching and leadership across the whole school system.

These programmes include the full suite of new NPQs, with applications now open for February 2024.

There are two cohorts of NPQs launched each year in the Autumn and Spring.

Cost and funding

 

For staff from state-funded schools or 16-19 organisations in England, places are fully funded by the DfE. Educational settings with 1 to 600 pupils will also be paid £200 for each teacher or leader they employ who takes an NPQ.

There will be no cost to the participant.
